Weegar-Eide staff have extensive experience regarding geological and hydrogeological studies for CO2 sequestration projects. We have conducted GS studies for CO2 sequestration projects at over 30 sites in Texas, Colorado, Wyoming, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, California, Michigan, Ontario, Alberta, and Australia.
Weegar-Eide staff has worked closely with regulatory agencies to successfully meet state and federal requirements for Class I hazardous and non-hazardous injection wells and aquifer exemptions for Class I and Class III wells. This regulatory experience enables our company to identify and develop the regulatory framework and design CO2 GS wells that meet the requirements of the USEPA's newly promulgated Class VI UIC rules and/or state agencies with UIC program primacy.
We believe that our background with GS projects, along with our combined staff experience relating to injection well services, make us uniquely qualified to work in this growing segment of the industry. In addition, Weegar-Eide has the resources and capability to move a project forward from feasibility screening to final implementation.
